Bay to Birdwood Run (South Australia)

First, some background :
        The Bay to Birdwood Run, for pre-1955 vehicles, is held in even-numbered years.
        The Bay to Birdwood Classic, for 1945-1973 vehicles, is held in odd-numbered years.
        The finish point is the National Motor Museum in the Adelaide Hills town of Birdwood.

The Sunbeam Car Club was given special permission to run a few post-1955 cars because they had an exhibition at the National Motor Museum to celebrate the centenary of Singer cars (1904-2004).

A total of 1460 vehicles entered the Run.  It was claimed to be the world's largest gathering of old motor vehicles.  Many thousands of spectators line the footpaths along the way, waving to participants.
