Google Earth Placemarks

If you have broadband internet access, but haven't yet installed Google Earth, click here earth.google.com/download-earth.html to see the minimum computer requirements and download the free version.

After installing Google Earth, click on the following links to run my placemark tours :

After opening a placemark file with Google Earth, it will be placed in the Google Earth window as follows:
within the Places area (red bar) at left, beneath your Temporary Places main folder.  Ensure that the file is expanded (via the triangle to the left of it), then click on the folder name (one line down from the .kmz file name).  Finally, click on the Play Tour button at the bottom of the Places area.

The first time you visit these places, the image data will take a while to download via the internet.  To maintain a clear picture during the tour, click on the Play Tour button again to pause while it catches up.
If you play the whole tour again, Google Earth should still have the image data saved in your computer's memory, so the tour should then play quite well at normal speed.

It might be a good idea to go into the Layers area (green bar) at left, expand the Google Earth Community folder, and de-select all of the information marks within.  Otherwise, you could have junk annotation splattered everywhere.
